1902 - Stella Gibbons
English novelist best known for her debut work, Cold Comfort Farm.








1926 - W.D. Snodgrass
American poet who won the 1960 Pulitzer Prize for Poetry.



1932 - Umberto Eco
Italian novelist and essayist whose first novel, The Name of the Rose, is his most well known.
