Danish author known by her pen name, Isak Dinesen, and for the novel Out of Africa.

Polish-born American known for his books on ufology.








1897 - Thornton Wilder
American playwright and novelist, winner of a Pulitzer Prize for his novel The Bridge of San Luis Rey.



1949 - Beverly Lewis
American novelist of Christian fiction; particularly dealing with Amish and Mennonite communities.
